After graduating from Newcastle University, David has spent most of his career managing farms, before moving into the agricultural supply industry.
David has experience across the widest range of crops including; combinable crops, field scale vegetables and vining peas, as well as, maize and grass - used by both livestock and AD units.
David is BASIS & FACTS qualified and maintains his membership of the BASIS Professional Register.
From an early age, David knew that all he wanted to do was work in agriculture, and luckily, he’s manged to do just that.
Working for Nickerson - the UK’s premier seed producer – “is a real privilege and I hope that my agricultural experience and first-hand experience of growing Nickerson varieties, will help my customers improve their margins, especially as we face a less certain future and look to improved varieties to solve our crop management challenges”.
Outside of work, David can be found wobbling around local Parkruns, making sure he has the stripiest lawn in the north, messing about in his garage and exploring the Northumberland countryside.
