Sugar beet type with the potential to produce high dry matter yields

  • End Use: Biogas
  • Harvesting Machinery: Beet harvester
  • Utilisation: Lift and store
  • Harvest: October, November & December

A sugar beet type with the potential to produce high dry matter yields, ideal for harvesting with sugar beet harvesters.

High dry matter content (22%) allows the crops to be harvested later, the roots will store well retaining quality throughout.

We recommend that the roots are washed and chopped due to their high dry matter content. Some crops have been successfully grown for Biogas production where DM yields and storage qualities are so important.

Strengths

  • Very high DM yields

  • High DM%

  • Sugar beet type
