Brick

Bred to produce consistent high dry matter yields from clean white roots

  • End Use: Dairy, Beef & Biogas
  • Harvesting Machinery: Beet Harvester
  • Utilisation: Lift and Clamp
  • Harvest: October, November & December

Brick is a relatively new introduction, producing a high-quality winter feed from every hectare.

Brick is a true fodder beet type and exhibits clean roots compared to sugar beet. High dry matter content makes Brick ideal for later lifting and giving you additional flexibility, it also stores well over winter in the clamp.

Some crops have been grown specifically for Biogas production where Brick’s clean roots reduce soil contamination.

Brick is also tolerant to Rhizomania.
