Originally from Northern Ireland, James has now made Scotland his home after living there for more than a decade.
Growing up in the countryside, he has long had an interest in agriculture. This has led him to spend time working on farms both in the UK and overseas, including doing the ‘2000-mile harvest’ and spending some time cattle mustering in Australia.
More recently James has been working in the merchanting trade in customer-facing roles. In his spare time, he enjoys exercising and spending time with his young family.
James is proud to be part of the LG brand and his own experience of LG varieties drew him to the role at Nickerson. “Being part of a small team within a large global business is very appealing and I am looking forward to bringing in the new varieties from LG and seeing how they perform on farm.
